This free-lanced, double-decked, Sn3 layout is loosely based on the prototype Telluride Branch of the Rio Grande Southern Railroad. Set in autumn 1930, the railroad is beginning to feel the effects of the Great Depression. Nevertheless, a lack of decent roads has forced this mountain area to retain its dependence on the railroad, so traffic has not suffered. Actually, since Dennis enjoys way freight switching, there is much more traffic on this road than the RGS ever witnessed. 28 different trains serve 46 industries and 6 mines.
DCC control. The layout is approximately 525 square feet.
